b. We develop means and methods considering individual differences (special needs, cultural differences, age, etc.) that facilitate teaching/ learning of the key competences for the future and evaluate learning outcomes.
c. We develop solutions for organisation of education and environment on the basis of a life-cycle concept to support the implementation of the changing approach to teaching and learning in formal and non-formal learning, as well as in the support services in education.
1.1.2. Introducing and mediating the changing approach to teaching and learning
a. We study the needs of society and possibilities to empower different target groups. Based on the research results, we
n reorganise teacher education study programmes and integrate theory and practice into professional placement;
n develop the learning content and process of continuing education according to the principles of the changing approach to teaching and learning;
n develop the competence of the degree study and continuing education in regard to educational management, create and implement professional development programmes for future educational leaders;
n initiate school development projects.
b. We expand the target groups of teacher education study programmes, apply flexible forms of study, create opportunities for doctoral studies and the re-qualification of practicing teachers.
c. We develop educational support services and a course of action for non- formal learning.
d. We initiate joint projects and surveys between universities and schools.
