Kokkuvõte
Artikli aluseks olev doktoritöö on oluline seetõttu, et näitab mahukate andmebaaside tervikliku analüüsi alusel, kuidas nii individuaalsed (mikrotasandil) kui sotsiaalse struktuuri (makrotasandil) tegurid mõju- tavad Euroopa vanemaealiste heaolu rahvastiku vananemise väljakutsete kontekstis. Töö tulemusi saab arvesse võtta vanemate inimeste heaolu tagamiseks nii riigi sotsiaalpoliitika diskursuses, pragmaatilises sekkumises sotsiaaltöö valdkonnas kui ka ühiskonna hoiakute ja põlvkondadevahelise solidaarsuse ku- jundamisel.
