THE UNIVERSITY IS DEMANDING AND SUSTAINABLE
Achieving the role of a leader in promoting intelligent lifestyle requires dicipline towards oneself in a way that guarantees the university continuity under the condi- tions where universities must compete more and more to attract potential students and acquire funding. Con- sidering the increase in the extent and volume of the activities that have taken place during the development of the university so far, self-dicipline and sustainability are our major challenges.
We aim for a high-level and competitive research acti- vity by creating (within the university) centres of excel- lence, improving the supporting activities of research and efficiency of doctoral studies. We expect acade- mic rigour from both student and teacher by providing study programmes that meet the requirements of the society, labour market and needs of the learner. For this it is important that study programmes are developed in pursuit of quality requirements, flexible learning opportunities are created for different target groups and effectiveness of studies is increased. In developing a motivated staff and common identity, we implement an inclusive management model, create a favourable development environment for university members and ensure the continuity of a viable academic staff. We ensure optimal human resource planning and develop an image that supports the goals of the university. We also aim for financial sustainability of the university by creating an internal funding model for more effective use of the existing resources.
