IV PRINCIPLES OF ACTIVITY
We have defined the guiding principles of activity stemming from the trends of the operating environment and the institutional self-assessment to support the strategic objective of the university. Thus, the development of the focus fields is supported by the following guiding principles of activity:
THE UNIVERSITY IS INTERDISCIPLINARY IN ITS ACTIVITY
The problems faced by the society and country today require cooperation between different fields. The prior activity and performance of the univer- sity create prerequisites for achieving an innova- tive and important influence on the society by cross-domain orientation. Therefore, the univer- sity is guided to promote the concept of intelligent lifestyle by the principle of interdisciplinary orien- tation.
As an advocate of intelligent lifestyle, the univer- sity offers interdisciplinary solutions to societal problems through research, development and the creative activity by popularizing them among stakeholders and partners. In study, our goal is the development of general competences and practi- cal skills, achieved through updated study pro- grammes, development of digital competences of the graduates and through increasing the practical orientation of studies. We aim for interdiscipli- nary approach in research, development, creative activity and studies. This is achieved through the funding principles and work organisation, which support cooperation and networking.
