ȣ Do not walk the unlit and abandoned areas alone at night (especially when you have used alcohol).
ȣ While walking on the streets, hide your mobile phone.
ȣ Try to avoid talking on mobile phone while walking alone.
ȣ Do not lend your phone to strangers.
ȣ Pay attention to what is happening around
you.
ȣ Pickpockets may operate at crowded tourist destinations in Tallinn, so make sure your wallet and documents are stored safely.

Here are some guidelines for making the call:
ȣ Remain calm; explain as quickly and clearly as possible what has happened, where it happened, and who is calling.
ȣ Remember and tell the duty officer as much information as you can about the persons, vehicles and other related aspects.
ȣ Be ready to answer additional questions.
ȣ Do not end the call before the officer
allows you.
