sissetuleku erisustele kohandamist, siis võib öelda, et suurem leibkond on naiste jaoks majanduslikult koormavam. See näitab ka sotsiaalmajanduslike tegurite erinevat rolli või tähendust meeste-naist vahel vaimses tervises.
Partneri olemasolu leibkonnas on seotud madalama depressiivsusega vaid meestel
ning vastav tulemus ilmnes vaid läbilõikeliste seoste puhul (sama tulemus ka Opikova (2019) töös). Seega partner on oluline emotsionaalse toe allikas kesk- ja vanemas
eas, panustades eriti meeste parema vaimse heaolu säilimisse. Naiste puhul, kes on tavapäraselt partneriga kooseludes toepakkujad, võib see viidata aga nende kurnatusele, vähestele võimalustele hoolduskoormust vähendada või jagada ning seetõttu on partneri olemasolu vanemas eas naiste jaoks seotud kuhjuvate kohustustega.
