Quality of reCeiVeD Care among olDer people
In the SHARE, persons with at least one limitation in ADL or IADL were asked whether they receive help with these activities. In all the countries about 43% of them received such help, females more frequently than males (45.8% vs. 37.8%). e highest propor- tion was observed in the Czech Republic (54%), Germany, Belgium, Slovenia, while the lowest in Poland (29%), Italy, Spain and Sweden (Figure 14). Older people (aged 80+) obtained help more o en (58%) compared to 36% in the 65–79 age group (Figure 15). Again, substantial di erences may be seen among the countries.
