 e shares of older people receiving informal care by sex are presented in Figure 10. Only 12% of older adults receive formal care services, women more o en than men (14.8% vs. 9%, respectively).  e analysed countries di er signi cantly with respect to access and provision of formal care services.  e highest proportion of older people receiving this kind of support was observed in Belgium (26.5%), Luxemburg (20.7%) and in France (19.5%), while the lowest in Poland, Slovenia, Estonia and Croatia (4–6%).
