1.4.3. Promoting education for sustainable development
d. We develop methodology and technology that enables the gathering and analysis of scientific information about natural science complex systems and make these available to the society, whilst promoting value-based environmental education.
e. We develop long-term research and development programmes in cooperation with partners for developing sustainable material science, sustainable use of environmental resources and ecosystem services.
f. We develop didactics of physics, chemistry and other natural sciences based on ideas of educational innovation, and by applying information communication technology.
g. We integrate health, physical activity and sustainability into teacher education study programmes; develop methods of inclusive education and teaching of practical life skills; and provide education of sustainable development in all specialisations and at all study levels within the university.
1.4.4. Development of health promoting and green university
a. We promote healthy lifestyle among university members and follow the principles of a green university.
b. We define the position of the university in the international network of green universities and plan activities to exchange and implement best practices.
c. We implement the LiFE-index methodology in developing the sustainable strategy of the university and for monitoring our development.
