COURSE AIM
This course aims to give an overview of health promotion challenges, agendas and commitments on a global scale. The state of global health, Social determinants of health, health disparities, global burden of diseases, communicable and noncommunicable diseases are just a short list of themes covered by the course. After  nishing the course student will be able to critically analyse global trends and implement appropriate practices in HP to understand global contexts and implement gained knowledge into HP practices and interventions.

The course addresses various challenges, problems and solutions related to health promotion, taking the holistic approach towards human health and wellbeing. The content and activities of global
initiatives will be explored to critically analyse global trends and relate them to local and national health promotion practices. Different environmental challenges are directly linked to the changes in human health. This programme teaches the students to analyse broader processes and see the relationships that affect health promotion.
