COURSE AIM
The course aims to provide knowledge and tools for multisectoral collaboration among various stakeholder groups and sectors in health promotion. After  nishing the course students will be able to work collaboratively across disciplines, sectors and partners to enhance the impact and sustainability of health promotion actions. They will know how to identify health promotion activities, opportunities and challenges for cross-sectoral actions across sectors and levels and apply promotion and evaluation measures in the chosen sector and how to apply the multidisciplinary knowledge and skills needed to promote health and well-being in municipalities, organizations, companies, and in the third sector.

• The greatest impact on the health and well-being of the population is due to the environmental, social and economic conditions in which people live. As these factors are outside the social and
health care system, decision-makers have to go beyond the social and health care system and act in a coordinated way with other sectors in order to tackle the health and welfare determinants more broadly.
• This online course offers knowledge and tools for coordinated cross-sectoral strategies and actions to work and look at the health and well-being matters as a whole, combining knowledge and expertise across administrative boundaries.
• The students get to know local and international cross-sectoral networks promoting welfare locally and/or globally. By using  ipped learning approach as a pedagogical approach, students’ self-steering will be strengthened by offering them options to make content-based solutions that are in their own interest.
