The library has access to several scientific full-text databases, which contain articles from e-journals, e-books and reference materials. Databases are accessible from the computers of Tallinn University and the Library Network, as well as from home computers outside the uni- versity’s network with your Tallinn University e-mail account username and password.
To use the databases at the university and library you need to adjust your internet browser to the Tallinn University proxy server. The computers of the library are normally adjusted to the TU proxy server. Your personal laptops may need adjustment. How to adjust your web browser? See www.tlulib.ee → resources → access to the licensed databases.
To use licensed databases outside the university’s network:
ȣ at www.tlulib.ee go to ‘Resources’ or to ‘Subject information’ and choose your Institute;
ȣ click on the key icon;
ȣ enter your Tallinn University e-mail
account username and password
All the library’s e-resources are listed on the homepage under ‘Resources’ or for more specific information look under ‘Subject information’.

The aim of the Academic Affairs Office is to guarantee the smooth provision of education services from the moment a student is admitted to the university to the day he or she graduates.
The Academic Affairs Office coordinates the following activities:
ȣ informing prospective students of the learning opportunities available at Tallinn University and coordinating the admission of local and international students;
ȣ advising international degree students (admissions@tlu.ee, room T-216);
ȣ advising international exchange students (exchange@tlu.ee, room T-215);
ȣ issuing various certificates to students, diplomas to graduates and coordinating the issue of diploma supplements (degree students, room T-213; exchange students, room T-215);
ȣ administering the Studies Information System (ÕIS) and offering support for the system users (ois@tlu.ee);
ȣ coordinating student mobility by admin- istering different academic exchange programmes, including the Erasmus+ programme (erasmus@tlu.ee, room T-215);
ȣ coordinating different European educa- tional projects;
ȣ coordinating the preparation and develop- ment of degree education curricula and the subject catalogue;
ȣ assisting in developing timetables for full- time students as well as study and exam schedules for distance learning groups;
ȣ providing different technical solutions for e-learning through the E-learning Centre.
