international Club (iC)
The International Club is an organisation for all the international students of Tallinn University. It was created in 2006 in order to organise social events and provide support to the international students during their studies at Tallinn Univer- sity. The International Club operates under the Tallinn University Student Union and is also a section of the Erasmus Student Network.
The IC consists of voluntary tutors - local students who help international students settle in to the academic environment at the university and life in Tallinn in general. All international
students can apply for a tutor (www.tlu.ee/ tutors), whose work starts from the moment s/he sends the first welcome e-mail and ends in the middle of the semester (October 18 in Autumn Semester and March 20 in Spring Semester). During the semester, tutors organise trips and events to introduce Estonia and its culture.
