3.1.1. Developing an internationally competitive researcher community.
a. We plan resources for involving a high-level international professor/ research professor in each focus field and develop measures for securing them competitive remuneration; especially after the closure of EU structural funds programme support.
b. We develop the principles for a targeted recruitment of international academic staff.
c. We develop a system for post-doctoral placements and by planning employment positions and financial means in a way that would enable us to employ international post-doctoral fellows.
d. We increase the proportion of international doctoral students.
e. In cooperation with different enterprises and institutions we
plan additional financial resources that would enable us to offer employment positions to doctoral students and provide them with scholarships.
3.1.2. Externally funded research projects conducted in international cooperation
a. We increase the competence for preparing project applications and provide technical support for the teams planning projects in their focus fields.
b. We guarantee the project administration competence in each academic unit.
c. We develop strategic partnerships for international research cooperation in academic units.
