1.5.3. Promoting innovation in local communities and organisations
a. We conceptualise the relationship between local communities and
the state in the context of both sustainable and e-society practices, to support the development of new forms of collective activity, and develop solutions for increasing the coherence and responsibility of communities.
b. We develop the competence for the creative industries in order to promote the conceptualisation and studying of creativity-based economic models, new forms of entrepreneurship (e.g. creative and social entrepreneurship, networks) and offer choices and solutions for policy-making in the field.
c. We develop labour studies by integrating the competences of social sciences, management and labour relations.
1.5.4. Conceptualising and developing the approaches of individual wellbeing and rights
a. By conceptualising the changes in the development models of a welfare society, we develop new ways of providing coping strategies and the wellbeing of individuals.
b. We define the issues of providing national sovereignty and basic rights in the context of the globalizing world and European Union law.
c. We expand the programme of international studies and practical output of the field of lifelong learning.
d. We develop youth studies in order to find ways to create better opportunities for young people within society.
1.5.5. Applying the competence of social sciences, law, political science and governance in the university
a. We counsel the university in implementing the principles of open governance and rule of law.
b. We develop a methodology based on the principles of open governance and scenario-building to promote public debates.
