Quality of herbal flora of grounds of Tallinn.
On investigated grounds of Tallinn (109, ~0,15% of total area of Tallinn) were found 1008 species of vascular plants. 797 of them are species of herbal layer (incl. draft shrubs). Only 300 of them are native (incl. immigrant species) for investigated grounds, it is only 36% of total native flora of Tallinn. By the estimate of coverage the most important species of Tallinn are apophytes (71%). The estimate of coverage of cultivated species is only 3% (with naturalised species 14%). The estimate of coverage of immigrant species is also little. Importance of apophytes and antropophytes in coverage of grounds of Tallinn is bigger than in Estonian flora.
There are native for Estonia 85 species of total 497 cultivated species. 40 of native cultivated plants have naturalised in different level. There have naturalised 30 alien cultivated plant species, 11 of them have big frequency. The most invasive are Veronica filiformis and Oxalis corniculata.
In flora of grounds of Tallinn are few invasive species. Maybe, it is caused by juvenility of Estonian flora (the native species are rather aggressive yet). Also most of cultivated plants need warmer climate. But maybe, there is not correct to compare changes in islands flora and continental flora – island’s plants have lower selection pressure and they can degenerate in ability to compete.
