June 24 - St John’s Day or Midsummer Day (Jaanipäev) – together with its important Midsummer Eve is a traditional celebration held on the night between June 23 and 24. This day marks the longest day of the year when twilight and dawn appear to merge, and is celebrated with bonfires and a traditional festive menu.
