OF PARTICIPATION

To achieve minimum
positive assessment (E
or D, but NOT higher) you need to do at least three
tasks of six including CONCERT REVIEW.

course can be done also as 95% E-course → you need to do ALL
PRACTICAL TASKS as well as attend the first and the last lecture
oft stationary course!

SHORT RESUMEE

three scientific/theoretical texts on (music) criticism (using
listening strategy NEW, KNOWN, INTRIGUING by Gerhard Lock)
2)
SHORT ESSEE (+ SHORT PRESENTATION)
-
on specific topics (of your choice) of music criticism, music
analysis, art aesthetics and philosophy, contemporary music (art
etc.)
3)
PROFESSIONAL CONCERT REVIEW
-
event of your choice
- in any case obligatory, minimum lenght
2000 characters (without space)
4)
SHORT REVIEW
-
first impression (5-10 sentences)
- of two musical pieces
listened to in the lecture / in IVA (using listening strategy
NEW, KNOWN, INTRIGUING)
5)
TEXTANALYSIS

analysis of three texts
6)
EDITING
-
1–2 pages editing of a unedited text (article, book chapter
etc.)
