Abstract
Second Nordic-Baltic Library meeting was held in Birstonas, Lithuania, in May 15-17, 1997. The presentations at the meeting were connected with the changing role of libraries in the information society, development of libraries in Nordic and Baltic countries and library automation. Cooperation, copyright and Internet were keywords of the meeting. The third Nordic-Baltic Library meeting will be held in Estonia.
